Opening Pages review

keep the momentum Going

$150

You Created a Writing Practice.

Go you! By sitting in that chair and getting those words on the page (mostly) every day, you've taught yourself something important:

Being a writer is about creating systems that bypass the doubt and encourage you to write anyway.

Let me be part of that doubt-busting system.

While you continue to write forward, I can review what you have so far and identify whether your memoir is rising up out of your words and touching the reader's heart. I can help you express how your writing matters and clarify your overall message so that you can use your message as a signpost (another system!) to write towards.

In this coaching special, you submit up to 50 pages of your work. I read them with a keen eye towards character, stakes, and message and deliver a review letter that identifies where your writing succeeds and where you have an opportunity to grow. Then we share a 30-minute strategy call to discuss your next steps to maintain momentum while writing your best story.

I Want TO keep my momentum.

The Idea Clarity Session

shortlist your scenes and focus your message

$200

You have a story to Write.

That story feels so big. It spans your lifetime, crossing checkpoints, oceans, continents.

But when you sit down to write the specific moments of your life, the details get a little fuzzy. You page through your passport / journals / photo albums to affirm that, yes:

You went there. You did that.

You were changed.

So why is it so hard to write it all down?

Because it’s one thing to know and accept your story as your own.

It’s another thing to write it for someone else.

In this session, I help you translate your life into a short list of relatable scenes with a clear message.

Here's how: You submit your responses to four prompts that help you distill your life into a series of stories that matter.

Then, we get on a one-hour call to talk about the writing choices available to you, the cohesion you are aiming for, and your next steps to leave the fuzziness behind and write that first page.
