CHart your Route

$1,400

You want to write about your life, but you don't know where to begin. You likely have so many stories or so many different places to tie together that getting started is worse than packing.

This package gets you 8 weeks of focused time with me to develop a clear roadmap for your writing project.

We will use elements of the Author Accelerator Blueprint process* and specialized prompts to answer key questions about your work in progress, such as: defining your ideal reader, crafting a clear point, researching what books your book will sit next to on the bookstore shelf, and identifying your protagonist's transformation journey. You will complete the process by writing an outline of key scenes that illustration the protagonist's journey and drive your point home to your readers.

We will create a schedule for you to submit your work for review. We will also schedule four 50-minute strategy calls designed to answer your questions and push you further and deeper into your planning.

My goal is to accompany you through this time of deep reflection to help you put into words just what it is you want to write and how you intend to get the thing down on paper. More specifically, I provide the structure and the professional feedback so that you can hold that outline in your hands and head into your writing phase with confidence and excitement.

*The Blueprint is a robust story-planning tool developed by Jennie Nash and licensed to Author Accelerator coaches.

Hire a CopIlot

$2,500

You've started writing, but you've discovered that sitting in front of your screen feels worse than facing a new international assignment solo. You can't help but think that a travel buddy would make this writing thing more enjoyable.

When you hire me as a copilot, â€‹I provide the accountability structure, and you provide the drive. It's just like being on a road trip together; you're hitting the gas, and I'm holding the map (paper or digital, it's up to your imagination; I am a pro at both!).

Each writer is different in what they need or expect for accountability. I expect that maintaining deadlines will be part of my responsibility. You may use the deadlines for generating and submitting pages, or for working up a list of questions you need answered before you can move ahead to the next writing milestone.

Within the framework I've created, you may submit up to 20 pages every other week, which I will read and provide feedback on in the form of inline comments. On alternating weeks of page submissions, we will have a 50-minute call to discuss feedback, work on writer mindset, and launch into your next pages.

Because this is a high-touch service requiring intense attention from both of us, this process comes with a 3-month minimum contract. Use this package to jumpstart and maintain your writing progress.

Manuscript Editorial Review

$1,000

You did it! You drafted your memoir. You are full of that energy and emotion it takes to see a long-term project like this through. Celebrate how far you have come!

Since you are here looking at services, you know that your manuscript needs more work before it's ready for your chosen next step on the publication path. At this point, you've read and reread your chapters so many times in your own revisions that you've lost any objectivity you once had. It's time to hand that precious manuscript over to me.

I will read your manuscript with a generous and insightful eye, using my 10 years of editorial experience to supply you with personalized feedback and a prioritized revision punchlist. Then we will get on a strategy call and talk through your questions as well as your next steps.

Invest in this time with me to streamline your revision process with confidence.
